A lot of your beauty needs can be taken care of by using these staple household products,these are useful hacks to know in case you ever plan to have a day of pampering but forget something in your trip to the shops, with this knowledge can create your own D.I.Y homemade Products or maybe you are considering going green and favour natural remedies,You can recreate the feel of  a Beauty Spa from the comfort of your own home!


Teeth Whitener : Baking Soda + Lemon/Lime Juice


Baking Soda can be used as a natural teeth whitener,squeezing some lime or lemon onto a small amount of baking soda and then brushing it through like you would  with toothpaste every other 2 or 3 days will create dramatic results,especially if you are a habitual Coffee and tea drinker, Even though it is natural its advisable to not do this on a daily basis as it quite strong and you don't want your teeth falling out,It is now common knowledge that consuming  Fluoride has many health risks so some companies now produce toothpastes with Baking Soda as the active ingredient.


Make up Remover:  Oil


Trying to ditch high chemical products?Removing makeup with Olive Or Castor oil can be as easy as pouring small amount on a damp cloth or pad and then wiping off makeup with that damp pad the oil will naturally diffuse the make up particles without haring your skin,and then you can rinse your face with water.A lot of make up remover products claim to be 'oil free' as if this is beneficial for your skin,however when these products strips your face of its natural oils,your skin will try to reproduce it again and this can aggravate the skin and cause breakouts,It contains the same healthy fats as avocado, which plumps and moisturizes the skin with a combination of vitamin E and vitamin A



Shampoo: Apple Cider Vinegar



Apple Cider Vinegar can give your hair a good wash if not better then using a shampoo.The Apple Cider Vinegar in stores is treated and refined in mind to be used for cooking,you want to wash your hair not season your salad so would need raw and organic Apple Cider Vinegar ,You can wash your hair with this by mixing it with water and running it from the roots to the the tips,no need for it to lather and make bubbles as you will see the efficacy of it by the results and visible dirt it leftover in the sink/shower.It will also regulate the natural PH balance of your hair and scalp as it is naturally Acidic which should be a 4 or 5 as well as well as promote hair growth when it unclogs the hair follicles.



Skin Exfoliator : Honey


The use of Honey to exfoliate your skin is not obvious due to how sticky it is ,but its perfect when used as a base and mixed with sugar,the grainy texture of sugar will serve as a good face scrub that should be done in circular motions and then rinsed off,you can also add lime juice and Coffee granules,because Honey has high gluconics acid levels which is beneficial for removing dead skin cells.This is one of the best natural skin exfoliators just don't be tempted to eat it! It also has moisturizing Amino acids so is great to use in Winter time or any time in the year for people who suffer from dry skin to reduce flakiness.
